Maintenance Attendant

Key duties and responsibilities include:

Preventative maintenance for buildings and equipment on a scheduled basis; Operates and monitors building management programs; Collaborates with service technicians and oversees the maintenance repair of machinery, equipment, electrical and mechanical systems; Performs building maintenance and repairs (painting, drywall, setup/teardown for events); Assembling, relocating and installing furniture and equipment; Maintains building grounds such as mowing lawns, snow removal, landscaping.

Qualifications and experience:

- High school graduation or equivalent

- Basic computer skills

- Strong work record, including a minimum of 2 years previous maintenance experience

- Ability to perform basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical services

- Physically able to perform all assigned duties - capable of lifting up to 50lbs

- Possess or capable to qualify for Class IV motor vehicle license

- Keeping up to date with new technology and equipment

- Good oral and written communication skills

The following competencies and experience is considered an asset:

- Related post-secondary education, or equivalent work experience

- Strong mechanical ability

- Experience with HVAC and other facility management programs

- Computer proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Windows 10

Our work environment may include occasional exposure to minor disagreeable conditions, (i.e., snow removal, lawn maintenance, moderate heat, painting and dust).

We work - Scheduled days, evenings, nights, weekends, on-call.

Salary: From $20.68 per hour

Expected hours: 37.50 per week
