Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, road maintenanceand resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally. This position will report to the General Foreman Foreman
What you will do:
- Assist Maintenance Technician with day-to-day repairs and processes
- Follows and completes preventative maintenance schedule
- Collaborates to identify preventative measures to reduce improper use or abuse of machines and equipment
- Resolves problems and recommends effective, practical repair and/or work measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Establishes methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments
- Ensures necessary tools are available to employees to complete assigned projects
- Uses all in house computer systems including maintenance logs and the Microsoft Office suite products
- Operate Fork Lifts, jib and overhead cranes
- Perform other duties as required

Your qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Mechanically inclined
- General knowledge of basic shop tools and equipment
- Crane & Rigging experience or certification an asset
- Forklift Certification an asset

- Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others
- Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent safety record
