Job Description – Role and Responsibilities

The Maintenance Lead will have a solid understanding of plumbing and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. They will be well-versed in all maintenance processes along with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will also have aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting, directing operations, evaluating organizational maintenance processes, and completing regular safety inspections.

Maintenance lead will oversee and lead the maintenance procedures, manage activities such as tracking expenses and report progress updates to the Park Manager. Handle specific tasks assigned to them along the way and are responsible for developing maintenance procedures, ensuring the implementation throughout the facility. Carry out inspections of the facilities and identify any problems which may arise. These problems are then resolved quickly for safety without disrupting business operations.

The goal is to ensure the company facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations.

• Assist Manager with budgets and safety inspection reports.
• Ensure establishment is clean and well-maintained
• Manage projects and evaluate them regularly

• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure efficient operation of equipment and systems
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Provide training and guidance to park staff on proper procedures and safety protocols

Qualifications:

- Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think logically
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Contract length: 6 months

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
