Maintenance Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Located in Pointe-Claire, the private retirement residence Le Cambridge is a true haven of peace where every detail is thought of to offer an exceptional living experience. The residence offers large green spaces with a stream, so you can enjoy nature in the heart of the city.
We are looking for a full-time, daytime Maintenance Manager.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Actively participate in various company committees - Know and apply company policies and procedures
• Be available to respond to emergencies
• Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
• Maintain and clean the premises
• Maintenance and monitoring of equipment (mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, pumps, furnaces, valves, etc.)
• Manage apartment renovations in accordance with the program established by general management/the general manager
• Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
• Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
• Perform minor repairs in apartments and common areas
• Schedule and ensure that preventive maintenance is performed on equipment
• Supervise the maintenance of the equipment

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• A DEP in general builing maintenance (as asset)
• Experience in personnel management
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs
• Ease in the use of computer tools
• CPR training
