We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations at our grain facility.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Manager will ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our grain processing equipment and facilities. This position involves leading a team , implementing preventive maintenance strategies, and contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership:
• Lead and inspire a team of maintenance mechanics, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and accountability.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Maintenance Planning:
• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and plans tailored to the specific needs of grain processing equipment.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruptions to processing operations.
• Equipment Reliability:
• Implement and refine preventive maintenance programs to maximize the reliability and longevity of machinery.
• Quickly diagnose and address equipment issues to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
• Budget Management:
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Safety Compliance:
• Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to uphold a strong safety culture.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history.
• Generate regular reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and key performance indicators.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in a grain processing or related industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance planning and execution for grain processing equipment (Nice to have).
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices .
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software for maintenance planning and documentation.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in grain processing.
• Relevant certifications would be an asset.
