Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for team member’s direct supervision and, with HR support, includes scheduling, time-off requests, development, discipline, etc.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Maintenance team
  • Manage the team’s workload and assigns work as required to all direct reports
  • Address all department quality issues or concerns for all assigned work and repairs
  • Manage and support members of the team, and ensures all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time
  • Manages, coaches, and provides positive feedback and areas for improvement to all direct reports
  • Ensure all team members adhere to all SyBridge standards
  • Oversee all Machine and Equipment Repair for the locations assigned
  • Organize jobs, provide costing, and ensure follow up on job requests
  • Work with suppliers for the timely receipt of necessary parts and equipment
  • Schedule preventative maintenance and machine repairs
  • Ensure the team places focus on machine cleanliness
  • Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs using provided paper and/or electronic logs.

Qualifications:


  • Millwright or Electrical license, High school diploma, or equivalent is required.
  • Six (6) years of related experience managing a Maintenance Department;
  • Six (6) years’ experience working in a related capacity
  • Ability to perform under pressure and work independently
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required
  • Ability to ensure quality standards are met
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
  • Proficient in time management and communication skills
