Qualifications
· Responsible for the preventive maintenance of the facilities – must conduct and complete Preventative Maintenance tasks and checklists (as required).
· Troubleshooting/ repairs/ installation of mechanical equipment
· Ability to refer to assembly drawings and diagrams to follow installation and calibration procedures on new equipment, and components.
· Ability to evaluate the condition and reliability of production equipment to make purchasing and repair recommendations. Evaluate adequacy of procedures for isolating root cause factors for production deficiencies and decreased product quality.
· Possess excellent communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and as a team when reviewing production processes.
· Knowledge and understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and repairs.
· Knowledge and understanding belt conveyors, pneumatic systems, PLCs, VFD drives.
· Maintain a tidy, clean, and safe work area in the maintenance shop and at equipment locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment in compliance with plant codes, policies, and procedures.
· Repairing and maintaining plant machinery in accordance with diagrams, sketches operation manuals and manufacturer specifications.
· Responding to all maintenance issues, both mechanical and electrical, throughout the plant.
· Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures and actively participating in the safety program.
· Effectively communicating work performance and equipment statuses both written and verbal.
· Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions and adjust machines controls or control median as required.
· Observe and document machine performance.
· Ensure that machine settings and programs are adhered to during production.
· Perform regular machine maintenance
· Maintain current certification and engage in continuous learning to keep up with developments in field. Learn continually on the job through meetings, working with others and reading work related publications.
