General Accountability
The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
Specific Responsibilities
- Perform regular preventive maintenance (PM) on machines, equipment and plant facilities.as per our PM program and schedule.
- Schedule Contractor services as required and assist in implementation of new equipment.
- Maintain parts inventory by checking in / out parts on every transaction. Complete cycle counts &/or physical inventory as directed
- Perform building, maintenance, and electrical repairs as required to maintain the assets at base condition
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Assist training & development of the production personnel to operate the equipment at base condition as well as complying with conditions of use
- Assist in Rail Movement when required/Operate Rail King.

- Dusty, noisy factory environment
- Extreme temperatures at times depending on weather conditions

- Can be physically demanding at times
- Required to work off shifts and weekends as needed
Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience in a manufacturing maintenance role
- Millwright or Electrician ticket is preferred
- Ability to manually lift up to 55 lbs is required
- Forklift experience is required
