Maintenance personnel play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and facilities. Their responsibilities typically include:
1.Equipment Maintenance:
•Regularly inspecting and maintaining Crimping, Cutting, Stripping, and all other machinery and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
•Performing routine preventive maintenance tasks on machines/equipment to minimize downtime and extend their lifespan.
•Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and coordinating repairs as needed.
2.Facility Maintenance:
•Conducting regular inspections of the warehouse facility to identify and address any maintenance issues, such as lighting, heating, sprinklers, flooring, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
•Managing repairs and maintenance of the building's infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical systems, and other structural components.
3.Safety Inspections:
•Ensuring that all equipment and machinery meet safety standards and regulations.
Conducting safety inspections and identifying and correcting potential hazards in the workplace.
4.Inventory Management:
•Keeping track of spare parts and supplies inventory for machinery and equipment.
•Ordering and restocking necessary supplies to ensure that maintenance tasks can be carried out promptly.
5.Documentation:
•Maintaining accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, calibration, and inspections.
•Creating and updating maintenance/calibration logs and documentation to track the history of equipment and facility maintenance.
6.Collaboration:
•Collaborating with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities at times that minimize disruption to manufacturing processes.
•Communicating with other departments to address maintenance-related concerns and coordinate activities.
7.Training and Support:
•Providing training to operators and other warehouse personnel on the proper use and care of equipment.
•Offering support and assistance to production teams in resolving issues related to equipment functionality.
8.Continuous Improvement:
•Identifying opportunities for process improvement in maintenance procedures and implementing changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
•Staying informed about new technologies and industry best practices in maintenance to enhance the overall performance of the manufacturing facility.
9.Emergency Response:
•Being prepared to respond to emergency maintenance situations and quickly address critical issues to minimize downtime.
