Manager, Digital Health Solutions, BIOME & Digital Health Innovation
Location: Toronto, or Montreal #LI-Hybride

About the role:
As part of the BIOME & Digital Health Solutions Team, this role will focus on reimagining the way that Novartis designs, implements and evaluates Digital Health Solutions.
The Digital Health Solutions Manager is a key member of the BIOME team who will be leading the design, development and end-to-end facilitation of the Solution Lab, the innovation hub created to increase cross-collaboration both internally and externally. In addition, this role will also support in the implementation and management of Digital Health projects and initiatives within the BIOME.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare system in Canada, human-centered design methodologies, and be adept at storytelling, facilitating workshops with internal and external stakeholders and designing services/solutions to improve overall outcomes for patients/customers.
The role reports directly into the Head Patient Experience & Innovation

Key Responsibilities:
• Build the structure, governance and operational process of the DesignOps function within the BIOME’s Solution Lab
• Leverage user design methodologies and human centered thinking to work closely with business leaders to understand and validate customer pain points and health system challenges that impact the patient journey and care delivery.
• Design and facilitate workshops to co-create meaningful and impactful customer & patient solutions with internal and external stakeholders and partners (i.e., Art of the Possible, Alignment Workshops, etc.)
• Conduct research on technology vendors and their offerings to evaluate their fit
• Develop and maintain vendor assessment templates, tools, and methodologies to consistently evaluate vendor capabilities.
• Conduct vendor assessments, document findings, and make recommendations based on best practices and industry standards
• Support with ongoing implementation projects, working collaboratively and in an agile way with the business to ensure projects are delivered fast and with maximum impact

Essential Requirements:
• Ability to develop, design and execute productive and effective workshops with both internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to clearly communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders using a variety of mediums (e.g., presentations, reports, visualizations)
• Ability to manage projects, timelines, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Ability to think creatively, develop new ideas, and iterate on designs based on feedback and insights
• Ability to use various service design tools and methodologies like customer journey mapping, service blueprints, and personas to design and implement solutions
Desirable Requirements:
• Knowledge of electronic medical record systems & Electronic Health Record systems and digital platforms
• Ability to speak English and French preferred
