This position offers a hybrid work arrangement. Incentives are also available.
The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Become a trusted advisor to Business Operations by supporting, challenging assumptions, pressure-testing ideas, and collaborating with management and senior leaders.
- Ensure a thorough understanding of all financial risks and opportunities within the assigned business unit including P&L and Balance Sheet, internal controls, key contracts, and assist business leaders in managing those areas and providing strategies for mitigation.
- Anticipate the needs of the business and build strong working relationships with branch operations.
- Review respective business unit's contracts/agreements/business proposals including RFQ/RFP and tenders for accounting terms and conditions.
- Support Corporate Finance's key activities, including annual insurance and large customer credit renewals, along with preparation of business unit's capital project plans.
- Support compliance activities performed by Corporate Finance including remediation efforts within business units to strengthen internal controls.
- Lead monthly financial close process for the business unit, through the analysis of variances against budget, forecasts, prior year actuals, key business drivers and initiatives.
- Ensure the delivery of clear, accurate, concise, timely and efficient performance reporting with the purpose of delivering value added, insightful and actionable management information.
- Lead and direct the annual budget process for the business unit, including the preparation of budget presentations.
- Continuously assess the budgeting and forecasting process within the business unit to ensure maximum efficiency and forecast accuracy.
- Provide detailed insights into the root cause of variances to budget and forecasts, educating the business and providing recommendations that enable the business to make informed decisions that drive profitable growth.
- Coach and mentor team members to drive high level of internal customer service, accuracy, and analysis.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelors Degree in Business and an Accounting Designation (CPA) paired with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience including budgets, forecasting and accounting. Additional requirements include:

- Demonstrated skills teaching partners the financial effects of decisions, creating healthy debate on assumptions and collaborating to develop solutions.

- Ability to prioritize requests and deliver results within strict deadlines and tight schedules.
