ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Manager, Systems & Inventory Operations you will be a key partner in launching, onboarding, and training Processes & Systems in Canada and identifying areas of improvement in Canada! You will work very closely with internal partners to understand Merchandising and Planning challenges related to systems, and processes and adapt tools to build efficiencies on tasks completed in the system. You will onboard new hires and train SME’s for our core operational system.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Establish Training Centre of Excellence: Training & Onboarding
-Spearhead the creation of internal training modules tailored for new hires, covering crucial systems, workflows, processes, and timelines.
-Conduct regular reviews and updates of training documents pertaining to Merchandising & Planning processes and systems. Ensure alignment with SKU/UPC creation, cost/retail maintenance, PO maintenance, store tiers, profiles, and algorithm selection.
-Provide timely updates on internal onboarding and recurring training sessions for system launches & improvements, progress updates, and timelines.
-Lead external brand training sessions focused on inventory operations and processes.
-Evaluate US internal processes and documentation to find opportunities for adaptation and localization.
System and Process Enhancements:
-Drive the implementation of system and inventory operations enhancements tailored for Canada.
-Maintain a comprehensive understanding of business strategies and Sephora systems, ensuring alignment and optimization.
-Identify potential risks and opportunities for improvements, fostering a culture of continuous enhancement.
-Streamline Canada-specific processes, develop onboarding and training materials with meticulous accuracy, clear processes, and cross-functional implications.
-Address system issues proactively, collaborating closely with IT and US teams to optimize daily business operations.
-Engage in cross-functional collaboration with key partners in the US to improve tools, streamline processes, and troubleshoot system-related issues.
End of Life (EOL) Strategy and Troubleshooting:
-Develop and implement end-of-life strategies within system execution, particularly concerning business operations such as Mass Promo, New Store, Retrofits, and Animation.
-Take charge of troubleshooting IT solutions and driving continuous system process improvements.
-Coordinate and manage process flow for critical business areas: Replenishment, Allocation, Buysheet, NPF, MCS, and RTV.
-Identify areas for improvement and optimally communicate them to team leaders, encouraging a culture of innovation and improvement.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
-Possess a college degree or equivalent practical work experience.
-Demonstrate over 5 years of hands-on experience in retail planning and/or buying roles.
-Exhibit excellent technical knowledge, particularly in MS Office applications such as Excel and Word.
-Display a strong interest in numbers, capable of compiling and analyzing complex statistical reports!
-Showcase robust problem-solving abilities coupled with sharp analytical skills.
-Possess strong organizational and time management skills, adept at handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
-Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, showing strength in conveying complex concepts clearly and succinctly.
-Embrace flexibility and exhibit a collaborative spirit, growing in a team-oriented environment.
