About this team
Reporting to the Director of Product Analytics and Data Science, this role leads our Data Product Management function. We have products related to warehousing, data access, and Reporting, all of which report to this role. We operate in a broader Product Systems organization, building and delivering systems that support the Product lifecycle - and data/reporting is key. You will lead and build a team of diverse and skilled Data Product Managers to produce data products that support our Product organization. You will interface with business stakeholders of the product org to understand complex questions and lead your team to create products that answer them.
You’re a connector, a communicator, a dreamer, and a lateral thinker. You’re able to see the finer details within their context of the bigger picture, and how they all fit together. People naturally come to you to solve problems, and you’re good at it.
Teamwork and clear communication are key. You are an essential part of a cross functional team supporting the entire product organization.
In addition to the Product Managers, this leader also leads a crack team of Data Analysts who build prototypes of reports or systems and perform analytic tasks for the Product and Product Systems Orgs.
A day in the life:
Lead Data Product Managers
Liaise with other product management teams to understand longer term plans and roadmaps
Dig into existing data to inform the design and implementation of product systems and services
Scribbling! Enjoy thinking about complex business problems, playing with and devising how we can tease insights and deliver value with our data
Collaborate with Data Product Managers
Assist with creating and delivering training on data products and analytical concepts
Lead and attend workshops, meetings, and requirements gathering
Provide non-technical leadership to Data Analysts and Developers
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a Product Management or Business Analyst role in Fashion, Retail, or Supply Chain
Demonstrated leadership skills
Good knowledge of SQL, Excel, Power BI, and/or Databricks are an asset
Exemplary communication skills (written & verbal)
Extremely organized, thorough and able to prioritize
Self directed problem solver, proactive and resourceful
