Purpose:
The Manager, Product & Pricing Analytics, contributes to the overall success of Global Business Payments by creating and executing its data, business intelligence and analytics to support its overarching product and pricing strategy. The incumbent will perform and oversee analytics across a suite of business banking products (e.g. business accounts, payments, and cash management etc.) and support pricing strategies to drive revenue optimization. The role is highly technical and requires expert knowledge of products, data practices, analytical methodologies as well as Microsoft Power BI. Incumbent has strong technical, financial and analytical skills and the ability to communicate to a broad audience including Scotiabank executives. The incumbent also possesses leadership skills as well strong knowledge of GBP products and services.
Accountabilities:
•    Provide direct support to GBP Special Pricing Group, product teams and other partners for critical strategic initiatives and on-going pricing activities. 
•    Create and maintain pricing data assets and Microsoft Power BI reports which serve as the primary tools for Pricing Analytics and benefit tracking
•    Act as a centre of excellence for GBP Pricing Analytics and provide governance, guidance and support for all pricing data
•    Provide solid analytics and insights to various GBP teams to drive revenue, execute product campaigns, improve the customer experience, and protect the Bank 
•    Support the development of Microsoft Power BI reports which serve as the one-stop shop for all GBP data consumers to access self-serve dashboards, insights, leads, product campaigns, product analysis and more
•    Develop staff by sharing knowledge/experience and provide opportunities for staff to share responsibility for achieving bank and department objectives/goal
•    Work in alignment with the Customer Insights, Data and Analytics, Data Office, GBM Client Insights and Analytics, GBM Analytics Execution, Small Business Analytics as well as Commercial Banking Analytics and Business Planning teams
 
Requirements & Qualifications: 
•    Experience with pricing banking products 
•    Experience with relational database and SQL
•    Expert Microsoft Power BI skills
•    University degree in relevant Business, Finance or STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
