Our expanding bath and body products business is in search of a versatile and motivated Manufacturing Coordinator to ensure efficient production operations. This role demands an individual capable of balancing production-related responsibilities while managing customer interactions. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to advance within the company, with the potential to progress to an Operations Manager position. This position will require on-site presence for a minimum of 1 day per week, with the flexibility to work offsite for up to 4 days per week. The position directly collaborates with the President.
Essential Functions:
Manufacturing Coordinating :
- Guarantee the availability of necessary components and raw materials to meet production requirements.
- Efficiently manage production schedules to meet delivery timelines and optimize efficiency.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
- Collaborate with the production lead to ensure adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce procurement costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for timely and accurate material deliveries.
Customer Care :
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email, social media management software, and other communication channels.
- Manage and engage with customer comments on social media posts, fostering positive interactions and addressing concerns.
- Handle emails related to product inquiries, order updates, and wholesale customer questions.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and build strong relationships with our customer base.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Customer Service, or a related field.
- Experience in Customer Care and/or production management, preferably in a small business setting.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of production processes, supply chain management, and inventory control.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining accountability and meeting targets.
