We are looking for an enthusiastic individual interested in joining our exciting Market Access team. This team is accountable for securing (gaining, maintaining, and growing) Market Access for GSKs portfolio (Pharma, Specialty Care & Oncology). Market Access Operations role reports directly to the Director, Market Access, and Payer Solutions.

The primary function of this critical role is to lead activities and project manage GSK’s reimbursement submissions to health technology assessment bodies, and public and private drug plans. In addition, this role will monitor the national reimbursement landscape for trends and provide quality insights. *We are looking for someone who is energised at the thought of growing in this role over 3 years.

In this position you may participate in:

  • Lead the operations of public (CADTH, INESSS, FPT drug plans) and private reimbursement submissions through the development and dissemination of process plans and matrix team engagement, to ensure quality and timely completion.
  • Preparing reimbursement submission-related reports and presentations.
  • Stay abreast of CADTH, INESSS and pCPA’s evolving processes and procedures, and maintain a comprehensive database of submission requirements for all public and private payers.
  • Stay abreast of internal processes and procedures and operate in a way where governance enables performance.
  • Develop a working relationship with CADTH, INESSS, pCPA, Drug Plans, and other payer entities to answer submission related inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring changes to the public and private drug reimbursement environments and provide insights to the internal team. E.g., latest news and updates from CADTH, INESSS and pCPA related to GSKs portfolio.
  • Where applicable, compile a repository of comparable HTA recommendations for GSK launch assets to support the development of reimbursement and negotiation strategies.
  • Work with internal partners to manage interactions with 3rd party stakeholders.

Qualifications Required

  • University degree in health science, political science, economics, or related discipline or experience in similar role
  • Working knowledge and experience within Market Access and the Canadian Reimbursement environment
  • Project Management - High degree of initiative and sense of urgency with an ability to lead and manage multiple priorities and projects of a significant scope, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills while ensuring exceptional attention to detail and quality results.
  • Adaptive communication style with an ability to influence and build relationships with a wide range of individuals in a matrix environment, including skills in change management.
  • Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset
  • Appreciation for autonomy and ability embrace ambiguity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (French, English)
  • Certified Market Access Professional (CMAP) certification
