Summary of the Program:
The Indigenous Employment Program is designed to connect Indigenous job seekers with prospective employers in high demand sectors of our clean economy. To do so, it combines direct training and job placement, wage subsidy supports, community-based education and engagement, and networking opportunities through job fairs and targeted relationship building. As we help to build Nova Scotia's clean economy, we recognize our responsibility to ensure that everyone has access to the growing number of education and employment opportunities.
Summary of the Position:
Clean is in search of a dynamic and engaging communications professional to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Communications, the Marketing and Communications Lead - Indigenous Employment Program will play an integral role in helping elevate awareness of the Indigenous Employment Program to prospective participants. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive communication and marketing plan designed to reach and connect with Indigenous communities and audiences. As an effective communicator, you'll have experience with community engagement, crafting effective messaging and have a lens for marketing activities to help engage and recruit individuals for the program. You'll work collaboratively amongst internal teams and external partners to ensure communications and marketing efforts continue to be effective and help lead to engagement with the Indigenous Employment Program.
