What you’ll do:
This position will be responsible for creating content and maintaining social media channels, executing marketing campaigns, coordinating digital assets, researching promotional opportunities, maintaining a digital library of marketing materials, assisting with graphic design tasks, supporting community relations initiatives, contributing to event planning, and supporting website maintenance:
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining social media channels, engaging with comments, and contributing to the growth of our online presence.
- Support the Marketing team in executing marketing campaigns according to the established schedule.
- Coordinate with the VP, Marketing & Community Relations in gathering and organizing digital assets from the Brand Library, ensuring alignment with the marketing calendar.
- Maintain a digital library of marketing materials, ensuring proper organization and file naming conventions.
- Support website maintenance and updates, ensuring content accuracy and relevance.
- Participate in community investment initiatives and provide support for contests and campaigns.
- Supports the VP, Marketing & Community Relations in the development and execution of Community Relations strategies to strengthen the brand
- Support the sustainability programming of Discovery Co-operative Ltd. by leveraging the unique diversity of our business and our commitment to the communities we serve.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the VP, Marketing & Community Relations and team as needed.
- To be familiar with and adhere to Discovery Co-op Policies and Procedures. To live the Co-op brand every day and perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Marketing and:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Completion of 1–2 year Communications or Marketing program from a post-secondary institution preferred.
- 1 – 2 years of previous Marketing or Administrative experience preferred.
- Proficient in computer systems (Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, ADOBE products), with the ability to learn new software applications.
- Previous marketing training and experience is considered an asset.
- Detail-oriented with a creative flair
- Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
