Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Jump Recruitment, on behalf of our client, Terra Bruce Productions, and their affiliate The Majestic Theatre, is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinatorto join their team in St. John’s, NL.
Terra Bruce Productions is dedicated to developing and producing original musical theatre productions in Canada and beyond. Born out of love of music and culture, this company was formed to hire within the incredible talent pool of Canadian artists, writers and musicians and build a repertoire of high-caliber, world class shows.
Position Summary
This role is responsible for all marketing and publicity activities involving Terra Bruce Productions and all affiliates, including musical productions, M.O.T.H Recording Studio, The Majestic Theatre, and the Regent Theatre. The position includes executing the marketing and communications strategy to promote the work and activities of Terra Bruce Productions.
This will include building community relationships, audience development and supporting Terra Bruce Productions, working with consultants and contractors as needed to further grow the brand, and proactively handle hands-on daily marketing responsibilities.
Responsibilities:

• Social Media Management and Digital Media marketing.
• Newsletter writing and scheduling for all business activities.
• Marketing planning for Terra Bruce Productions.
• Website edits and updates (through WordPress CMS).

• A degree in Marketing or relevant field and/or experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in Marketing & Communications.
• Experience with large marketing campaigns.
• Design experience using professional design software.
• Ability to multi-tasks multiple projects and multiple company marketing needs.
• Automated email marketing experience (Mailchimp or other).
• Experience with content creation, website updates and editing.
• Understanding of marketing trends and opportunities.
• Experience with theatre marketing would be an asset.
• Ability to build and maintain community relationships.
• Budgeting and planning experience.
• Professional accountability and attention to detail.

• $60,000-75,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience. Based on 40 hours weekly (weekend and evening work may be required).
