About You: A strategic marketing expert

You love advertising and the written word. You are known for being strategic and analytical and making your work better, using your knowledge of the English language to create outstanding content that converts. About The Role: A vital piece in our online marketing team

You will work closely with a variety of teams to create written content for websites, blogs, paid advertising campaigns, and more. You will remain engaged in adopting new best practices for advertising effectively and engaging with customers. You will consider tone and brand voice as you create content for our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create copy that is compelling, sharp, witty, and effective
• Create content that is consistent with the client's brand identity
• Structure website copy to achieve client goal for the project
• Collaborate with the design team to generate content concepts and final copy
• Maintain a consistent tone and voice for each client's brand
• Apply best SEO and UX practices in all headlines and web content
• Prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in marketing or professional writing
• Post-secondary marketing or business education
• Exceptional understanding of the English language
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Experience working in an agency setting
• Solid knowledge of digital marketing
• Experience with Google or social ads
• Great organization and time management skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and accommodate tight schedules
• A positive attitude and passion for writing
• Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail
• Eye for design and ability to create simple creative assets
