Overview:

Pembina Pipeline is seeking a Master Data Integrator, Supply Chain (Integrator) to join our Information Services Unit (ISU), part of our External Affairs Division. Based in our Calgary corporate office and reporting to the Supervisor, the Master Data Management Integrator will be a key member of the Master Data Centre of Excellence.
Pembina's Information Services Unit is responsible for continuously improving data, ensuring our network is safe, and maintaining sensitive data. Our talented team collaborate in innovative ways to improve our processes and existing technologies. Our focus is to utilize cutting edge technologies that help improve the way we work, maximize productivity, and reduce cost.
While providing dedicated functional support to the Supply Chain Services Unit, the Integrator will work collaboratively with other Master Data Integrators and Technical Specialists to identify data dependencies, understand integration points across organizational functional, and provide recommendations to the Information Governance Council. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices to review and make recommendations that impact all components of Master Data management for Supply Chain.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for providing functional support to business stakeholders on Information Governance processes, standards, and policies;
  • Develop and maintain Information Governance processes, standards, and policies across all Supply ChainMaster Data used by Pembina and its integration with other data objects;
  • Provide guidance and expertise on the Information Management tools and processes on behalf of the business to create, maintain, and retire Master Data;
  • Improve data maturity and proficiency across business and enterprise;
  • Collaborate with other Information Integrators to coordinate decisions;
  • Provide guidance and support to Working Groups (project teams, operational teams);
  • Identify business and functional requirements that feed into data related projects;
  • Escalate key issues, risks, and decisions to Information Governance Council;
  • Perform root cause analysis of data issues, prioritizes, and recommends next steps to Information Governance Council as required;
  • Conduct impact assessments on new initiatives or business processes changes;
  • Identify MDM improvement opportunities and synergies across various Data Objects;
  • Participate in regularly scheduled Information Centre of Excellence meetings; and
  • Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications:

  • University Degree or College Diploma with emphasis on management of information systems, computer systems, and/or business administration background;
  • 7+ years of experience working in a data-driven environment, including development of data management policies, standards, and processes;
  • 5+ years of experience working in Supply Chain; CSCP designation is desired;
  • Experience in Oil and Gas industry – experience specific to mid-stream is desired;
  • Experience and knowledge with core enterprise solutions (e.g. SAP) is required and certification in MM/Logistics is desired;
  • Experience with supporting business stakeholders with entering, updating, and changing Master Data;
  • Deep understanding of the business processes within the specific business function (i.e. Supply Chain);
  • Deep understanding of the concepts of data governance, Master Data management, metadata, data quality, etc.;
  • Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills;
  • Demonstrates advanced critical thinking, problem solving skills and loves working with data;
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing approaches and collaborates well with business stakeholders;
  • Highly organized, requiring minimum supervision;
  • Experience with end-to-end technology implementations; and
  • Experience with using Informatica or any MDM tools is desirable.
