Meat Manager

Responsibilities:

• Provide superior customer service through consistent application of store processes and standards (e.g. cleanliness, pricing integrity, inventory management, and signage).

• Maintain and promote a close working relationship with staff

• Ensure exceptional department conditions through regular maintenance and the execution of logs (e.g. Temp Logs, Sweep Logs, Equipment logs)

• Ensure Meat department operates within the parameters of the Company’s standards, Health and Safety policies, and merchandising standards

• Signage and Pricing

• Meat operations (Overall daily performance of all)

• Ensure all Shrink, Labour, and Sales initiatives are followed

• Planogram Execution

• SPLAN and ordering execution

• P.A.C.E Audit compliance

• Ensure that all SAP processes, are followed on a daily basis

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, train, develop, motivate and utilize employees to maximize their abilities

• 3 to 5 years Management experience in a Fresh Foods Department is an asset

• Able to cut meat

• Exceptional customer service skills with a talent for building customer loyalty

• Demonstrated merchandising and promotional skills

• Goal and achievement oriented, while being flexible, adaptable and innovative to meet the needs of the business

• Knowledge of computer applications including SAP, BOSS, Email, STAS/Persona and Periscope is an asset

• Knowledge of applicable legislation as it pertains to the retail food industry, i.e. Food Premises Regulation (food safety), Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, Employment Standards Act, etc.

Job Type: Full-time
