Mechanical / Electrical Assembler

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Mechanical or Electrical Assemblers will be part of a small multidisciplinary team and will perform the following responsibilities:

• Read and interpret mechanical or electrical engineering drawings;
• Perform the assembly or the overhaul of mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic components or systems for the mechanical assemblers OR perform HMI, control pannel installations for the Electrical Assemblers;
• Use conventional assembly and mechanical or electrical adjustment tools;
• Complete assembly or overhaul of various refrigeration systems;
• Perform other mechanical or electrical duties assigned by the foreman.

Which candidate profile are we looking for?

• DEC, DEP or AEC in Mechanics, Electromecanics or equivalent experience;
• Minimum 2 years experience in assembly and / or mechanical or electrical repairs;
• Ability to read mechanical or electrical drawings, as well as assembly and adjustment procedures;
• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to perform all manual tasks;
• Perform work in accordance with established procedures, drawings and rules of the mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components;
• Knowledge of refrigeration and its components;
• Autonomous and resourceful;
• Dynamic and good team spirit;
• Comfortable in English (mandatory) and French (asset);
• Must understand electrical circuits;
