Job Description:As a Financial Controller, you will be at the forefront of integrating financial reporting with operations. Your role will encompass managing all accounting and financial functions, providing timely reports, and contributing to the strategic direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a robust financial control framework
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly statements with insightful analysis
• Collaborate with external financial advisors for annual accounts and tax filings
• Drive the creation of annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections in partnership with the management team
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and capital asset ledger
• Motivate and lead team members, providing clarity on roles and offering constructive feedback
• Regularly review financial plans for cost reduction opportunities and assess variations from the plan
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all regulatory filings
• Collaborate with the management team to support the owner's initiatives and produce ad hoc reports as needed

Qualifications:

• CPA designation
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Experience with Yardi Voyager
• Background in construction and real estate is advantageous
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
