We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Foreman to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time and on budget. You will be responsible to mange and supervise construction crews, conduct quality control checks to ensure that work meetings industry standards along with managing equipment and materials required.

Responsibilities:

- Complete projects with high quality and efficiency

- Interpret plans, blueprints and sketches

- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans

- Review individual crew daily Field Level Risk Assessment (FLRA) for compliance and attending weekly crew safety meetings to make sure all employees are engaged

- Review the JHA daily to ensure compliance to JHA requirements.

- Comply with Mine Regulation Act and Regulations clauses that apply to the work area

- Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew

- Allocate general and daily responsibilities

- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment

- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate

- Foster positive relationships with clients, employees and contractors

- Maintain safe working conditions to PACL’s high safety standard on site and ensure employees follow site specific safety protocol

Requirements:

- Industrial experience is required. Preference to candidate with welding, structural steel or pipefitting experience.

- Experience in a construction supervisory role
