Your Role

Reporting to the Construction Director, you will play a key role in our division. As Special Projects Superintendent, you will ensure assigned projects are completed safely, accurately, on-time, within budget and according to the scope of the contract. You will help lead service and Special Projects with ordering, documenting and maintaining supplies, as well as overseeing a team on various job sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field Mechanical operations on service Special Projects
• Work with the Project Manager to obtain or provide information needed to complete the job successfully and within budget
• Review job sites, scope of work, project information, and matters relating to ensure proper guidelines are communicated to technicians
• Interpret blueprints to determine location, quantities and sizes of materials required for Special Projects sites
• Review field generated documentation and work with accounting on contract and billing issues
• Understand project schedules, schedule crews, and work with Project Manager on assigning proper manpower for each job
• Prepare regular project status reports for compliance with company, client and code obligations
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, prime contractors and subcontractors

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in commercial HVAC mechanical piping, plumbing and sheet metal
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Excellent organization skills
• Solid knowledge of the construction process
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Projects

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
