Responsibilties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and manage calender
- Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional matter
- Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals
- General office duties as necessary
Skills:
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Experience with Accuro or MedAccess preferred
- Experience working in a Medical Office preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling multiple lines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Looking for a mature, friendly Medical Office Assisstant who has previous experience working in a medical setting. This job involves answering phones, arranging appointments, faxing, filing and working with medical software (EMR, ACCURO).
Must be a team player, organized, punctual, reliable and friendly. COVID-19 vaccinated.
