Can-Tech Services is currently looking for an individual for a Full-Time position located in the North York Area (Keele and Steeles) to work as a MIG Welderon Afternoon Shift.
Shift Time:
Afternoon Shift – Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am
Pay Rate:$ 22 / hr.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Structural MIG welding – minimum 16 guage to ¼ inch guage (steel bars)
- Select and set up welding equipment, execute the planned welds, and examine the welds to ensure that they meet specifications for quality control purposes
- Good understanding of set up techniques
- Ensuring work area is kept clean and free from hazards
- Otherduties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years MIG welding experience necessary
- TIG welding experience would be preferred
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, teamwork environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent time-management, and high attention to detail
