Mill Maintenance Planner - (Lanigan, Saskatchewan, Canada)
This position reports to the Mill Sr Maintenance Planner, Mill Maintenance. This position is located at Lanigan mine site, Saskatchewan, Canada and is not available for remote work.
What you will do:
- Responsible for sustaining and improving the Mill's Preventative and Predictive Maintenance Program
- Maintain PM/PdM schedules and establishing priorities for all maintenance work by coordinating with maintenance and operations personnel
- Responsible for BOMs, Maintenance Inventory, and data entry and maintaining accurate equipment records
- Develop Asset Hierarchy and managing new Capital Assets
- Responsible to maintain an accurate weekly schedule of job tasks
- Direct their area of responsibility to achieve the highest standards in all aspects, including safety, employee relations, production, cost, and effective utilization of the resources available
- Support coordination and supervision of service provider activities as required
- Providing occasional relief supervision for area, and coordinate/supervise service provider activities as required
What you will bring:
- 3-5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
- Preference will be given to people holding a Journeyperson Certificate or technical designation in the Millwright and/or Welding or Piping fields and/or a Technical Degree from a recognized institution
- Basic understanding of Milling / Mining operations is considered an asset
- Superior interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills are essential
- Motivated individual with the ability to handle a large and varied workload, prioritizing work tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance, planning, scheduling and asset management
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Experience with Oracle or other Maintenance Management systems would be considered and asset
