Reporting to the Installation Manager. This individual will maintain a presence on site in order to give the operating Mobile Crane apprentice guidance as needed. This is a non-operating, contract position.
THE DAY TO DAY
- The Mobile Crane Operator Mentor must be experienced in following areas.
- Operate Mobile Crane to lift and move building materials
- Control crane movement in response to hand signals or radio commands
- Rotate boom/jib to extend or retract trolley
- Prevent overload by determining the product weight and ensuring they meet lifting capabilities
- Inspect condition of the crane daily, ensuring parts get replaced as needed
- Complete daily work logs, identifying when work was performed and at what location
- Clean, lubricate and maintain all aspects of the crane as needed

Must be able to work in a self-managed team.
- Must possess Mobile Crane Certification/339A
