This position has some morning shifts (starting as early as 3, 4 or 5am depending on the day of the week), and some day shifts (9am-5pm). Must be available to be scheduled during the day between the hours of 3am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
-Open the kitchen.
-track inventory
-Baking bread and breakfast item to be ready before the store opens.
- following recipes to specification
-create and follow a production list based on what items are needed or special orders for that day
- maintaining a clean work environment throughout the day. Includes washing dishes.
- Communicate and work with team members to ensure all the tasks for the day are accomplished.
- help with tracking inventory to let owner know when items need to be ordered
- Food handling certification is required.
- Maintains proper presentation and rotation of prepared baked goods for sale in the retail store and market.
- All employees will complete their tasks of the day, wash their dishes and clean and sanitize their work areas, sinks, worktables shelves, and gather garbage, sweep, mop etc.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
