Production Baker

We are looking for a Production Baker to become part of our Pingle's bakery team! Pingle's Farm has a scratch bakery and we are known for our delicious donuts, cookies, and baked goods. We are currently seeking a skilled Production Baker to join our team and help us meet the high demand for our products.

Job Duties:
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and other items, following established recipes and production schedules
- Collaborate on recipe creation and utilizing creativity where possible
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, such as ovens and mixers
- Monitor baking process to ensure quality and consistency in products
- Decorate and finish baked goods as needed
- Keep work area clean and organized, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Follow all health and safety regulations

Skills Needed:
- Prior experience as a baker or pastry chef in a commercial kitchen or bakery
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and attention to detail in decorating and finishing baked goods
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independantly
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Desire to always exceed expectations

This is a full-time, daytime position and minimum high school completion is a MUST.

Rate of pay will depend greatly on prior experience and skill sets.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
