We are currently seeking an experienced and security-driven Network and Systems Administrator in both Windows and Linux-based environments. The Corporate IT team is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the corporate infrastructure, R&D development infrastructure, and end-user equipment.
While you will be assisting with the broader daily IT tasks, you will focus on maintaining the corporate infrastructure and the R&D Linux infrastructure. You will be working closely with the development teams in an R&D environment and managing the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Gitlab). Duties will also include occasional troubleshooting and resolving of networking issues, as well as handling Windows, Linux, and macOS end-users issues.
This role will be required to be in the office most of the days with some remote working capabilities.
As a key member of our Corporate IT team, you will:
- Support Dejero’s corporate and R&D environments and users
- Deploy and upgrade Windows and Linux servers
- Assist in securing the IT infrastructure by developing and implementing security best practices
- Manage Jenkins and other CI/CD tools
- Troubleshoot network, hardware, Windows/Linux/MacOS issues
- Assist with planning and deploying hardware and software refresh and maintenance
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks
- Maintain and improve on-site and off-site backup systems and procedures
- Document and improve existing processes
- Participate in on-call support and incident response rotations
- Perform help desk duties, such as assisting users with internal systems, as well as liaising with vendors
- Stay up to date with the latest IT technologies and trends; have a continuous improvement mindset

What you'll bring to the role:
- 7+ years of combined experience in enterprise networking (i.e. Cisco ASA and switches), and Linux (CentOS/RHEL, Debian/Ubuntu), as well as Windows Server and Active Directory
- The ability to perform complex Linux server upgrades and migrations (i.e. migrating Jenkins controller from CentOS 32-bit to Ubuntu 20.04 LTS)
- Demonstrated experience applying security best practices and securing IT infrastructure.
- Ability to competently support both Windows and macOS users
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab
- Understanding of cloud solutions
- Positive customer-service oriented attitude and excellent communication
- Solid shell scripting skills
- An IT-related College Diploma or equivalent experience with recognized certifications (LFCS/RHCSA, CCSP, MCSE, CCNA, etc.)
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Ansible
- Docker/Kubernetes deployment and maintenance
- VMware vCenter and vSAN
- Database deployment and administration
- Veeam backup system
