New Home Sales Consultant

With over 65 years of home building excellence, we are looking for a New Home Sales Consultant

Reporting to the VP of Sales, Marketing and Community Engagement, duties will include acting as a liaison between the client and the company. The chosen candidate will meet people on a regular basis, make sales presentations which include greeting, demonstrating, qualifying, home and lot selections and closing presentations.

The New Home Sales Consultant will staff assigned model home and demonstrate full knowledge of assigned community and Doug Tarry Limited homes for sale.

The following skills are needed:

• Have 2 to 3 years minimum experience in sales
• Customer service with ability to directly interact easily with the public.
• Outstanding communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills, self-starter and self-directed.
• Good Networking skills.
• Time oriented, ability to listen, enthusiasm, resilience, and problem-solving skills.

Duties will include:

• Provide service and follow-up prospects and clients from the time of their introduction to the company’s homes and communities, to the completion of the home sale.
• Maintain clear and accurate marketing and sales information according to the company’s reporting system, inclusive of client information, promotional offerings, brochures and home information.
• Demonstrate full knowledge of assigned community, DTL homes for sale, competition’s homes for sale, pricing, pre-arranged financing, standard construction practices, and company policies and procedures.
