Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Register guests and assign rooms, accommodating special requests whenever possible
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or guest room
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Proficient in operating phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Strong knowledge of guest services in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus
- Familiarity with front desk operations and procedures
- Professional phone etiquette with the ability to handle difficult or demanding guests
