We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Night Auditor to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation.
Some of the responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you!
Duties and Responsibilities
Checks front office accounting records for accuracy and, on a daily basis, summarizes and compiles information for the hotel's financial records. Tracks room revenue, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating statistics.
Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel's financial performance for the day. Verifies all account postings and balances made during the day by front desk cashier and agents.
Is able to function as a front Desk Agent especially in terms of check-in and check-out procedures. Run End of day process / Night audit process on the Property management software.
Key Responsibilities
Posts guest charge purchase transactions not posted by the front office cashier.
Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts.
Verifies all account postings and balances.
Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office statistics.
Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities.
Summarizes results of operations for management.
Run end of day process in property management software (PMS).
Understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
Knows how to operate PMS, computers, and other front office equipment.
Understand and knows how to perform check-in and check-out procedures.

Requirements
High school diploma I
Must be able to understand, speak, read and write English at a high school level.
Knowledge of hotel property, facilities, history and region
Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system and property management system
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner
Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Strong English language skills.
Experience: Minimum one year of hotel front desk experience, experience handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks.
Physical Environment
Utilizing equipment and cleaning products.
Must be able to lift 25lbs
Must be able to work in a fast paced, sometimes noisy environment
Valid Canadian work visa and/or Canadian residency
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: From $16.75 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
