Nutrition and Food Services Lead, Job Class 04 - #13/24

We are currently looking for a Nutrition and Food Services Lead to join our amazing team!

This position will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking nutritional high-quality meals and snacks which are in accordance with Canada's Food Guide and public health recommendations.

The Nutrition and Food Services lead will support and guide nutrition services across BGC Kawarthas programs, which includes our child care programs, dinner programs, and after school snack programs.

Qualifications

• Work schedule is Monday to Friday (days) - 37.5 hours per week
• Experience in cooking, food preparation, menu planning, and purchasing food and supplies
• Food Handling Certification or willingness to acquire
• First Aid and CPR Level C Certification
• Red Seal Chef certification would be an asset
• Education in Early Childhood Education or experience cooking for a child care program would be an asset

Salary: $19.48 to $22.00 / hour (37.5 hours per week)
