OFFICE ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
Administrative Assistants assist with the day-to-day operations of an organisation and have a responsibility to carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, data capture, order entries, as well as provide excellent customer service while being pleasant, accommodating, and attentive. Their organizational and multi-tasking abilities help staff members stay on track and keep the business running smoothly. Duties include but are not limited to:
FRONT DESK SUPPORT:
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with inquires
- Assist walk in customers with inquires and order pickups
ADMIN FUNCTIONS:
- Enter and process sales orders with accuracy and timeliness
- Freight cost management
- Process returns with accuracy and timeliness
- Filing of paperwork
SALES ASSISTANCE AND GENERAL TASKS:
- Sales order tracking to ensure customers are being updated with any potential changes to their orders
- Enter purchase orders and submit to vendors
- Assist in entering sales orders from team members when needed
- Tracking of product orders to ensure delivery time lines are being adhered to
- Price and tag incoming sample inventory for showroom
- Maintain sample inventory ensuring showroom is clean, organized and pricing is up to date on product
- Assisting with production
QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFICIENCIES:
- 1 year administration or sales experience preferable
- Friendly, engaging personality with a passion for customer service
- Ability to convey critical information and messages effectively, both written and verbal
- Organized multitasker with a can-do attitude and a passion for detail
- Strong mathematical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- The ability to create and maintain efficient filing systems.
- The ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be reliable, dependable with high integrity and strong work ethic
- Fluent in English
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
