Title of the Position: Office Administrator

Main duties:

• Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures
• Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
• Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
• Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
• Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
• Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
• Recruit and hire staff
• Supervise other workers
• Delegate work to office support staff
• Order office supplies and maintain inventory
• Develop and implement marketing strategies
• Conduct online marketing, E-commerce and Website promotions
• Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers
• Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
• All other relevant tasks

Terms of Employment: Permanent Full Time

Language of Work: English

Wage: $27.25/hour

Location of Work: 321 Progress Avenue, Scarborough, Ontario M1V 2Z7

Job and Skill Requirements:

• 3 years of relevant experience specializing in a food processing facility;
• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
• Excellent oral and written communication, team player, client focused and attention to detail;
• Excellent computer skills including in depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
