Supporting the Finance and Customer Service teams, the Office Administrator is responsible for coordinating the administrative operations of the corporate office. The Office Administrator is a key member of the Charlotte team, playing a vital role in the day-to-day function of the organization. This role will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative and operational tasks and requires versatility, organizational ability, people skills, and detail orientation.
What does the Office Administrator do?
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day office operations, including answering phones, handling
- correspondence, and coordinating meetings
- Organize and maintain files and records, as well as office supply inventory
- Manage incoming and outgoing office mail and packages
- Support the Finance team in expense reporting and the processing of invoices
- Support the Customer Service team by answering phones and emails with professionalism and promptness
- Assist the Customer Service team with order entry and account billings
- Assist in the preparation of various reports and presentations
- Proven experience as an office manager, Office Administrator, office assistant, or in a relevant role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Strong computer skills and excellent knowledge of MS Office and/or Google suite applications
- Independent motivation, possessing a high energy level and a desire to achieve goals and targets
- Ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple tasks simultaneously
- High school diploma required
- Post-secondary education in office administration and/or business administration preferred
