Career Opportunity:
Ross Taylor Financial Corporation is currently seeking an experienced Office Administrator / Bookkeeperto join our team. This role involves assisting the advisor and working as part of a team to prepare materials for client meetings, process account transactions, provide customer service and perform various administrative duties. Meticulous attention to detail is required and a proficiency in math is essential. Must have a pleasant telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills. This is a permanent, full-time position with group medical benefits offered.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide customer service to clients by email, phone and in person, in a professional manner.
· Prepare client documents and files for client meetings.
· Process investment transactions (deposits, switches, redemptions etc.) and submit paperwork and documents as required.
· Process life insurance business and submit paperwork as required.
· Order entry and tracking of trades.
· Maintain and organize client files.
· Input data into databases, spreadsheets and financial planning software.
· Maintain comprehensive records in contact management system.
· Must adhere to compliance rules and regulations.
· Perform additional administrative duties as required.
Experience and Education:
· University degree or College diploma in related field.
· Mutual Fund Licensed or working towards licensing required.
· LLQP Life Licensed is an asset.
· 2-3 years’ experience in the financial services industry.
· Experience in customer service.
· Experience with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook.
· Aptitude for learning new technology.
· Knowledge and experience in bookkeeping or taxes is an asset.

Office Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
