Job description

Sudbury Vacuum is looking for a reliable individual with office experience to work Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturdays may be required) for a maternity leave replacement (approximately 12 months)

Administer:

  • Manage phone systems and ensure professional phone etiquette is maintained
  • Greet and assist visitors at the front counter
  • Warranty claims
  • Social media pages
  • file and organize documents in an efficient manner

Prepare :

  • day end cash reconciliation
  • bank deposits
  • data entry
  • parts, office and shop orders
  • paperwork for bookkeeper

Verify & Organize:

  • Invoices (customer and vendor)
  • accounts receivables and payables
  • packing slips

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in office administration or a similar role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • QuickBooks knowledge an asset (willing to train)

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Office Admin: 1 year (required)

Work Location: In person
