Position Title: Office Administrator / Bookkeeper
Duration: Full Time Monday-Friday

What Will You Do
The position involves office administration and bookkeeping duties.
- Administration
Along with other members of the admin team manage the day-to-day operations of the office which include but are not limited to:
- Support team members by proofreading, preparing/editing reports for publication using Microsoft Office
- Organizing, filing and disseminating information
- Handling client enquiries and scheduling
- Ensuring smooth operation of office functions (supplies, office equipment, software, mail, etc.)
- Assist with logging, tracking and data entry of economic surveys at certain times of the year
- Bookkeeping
Working with Quickbooks accounting software
- Complete and manage account functions of the business(es) including accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, bank deposits and reconciliations
- Process payroll, source deductions, GST/HST, etc.
Ideally What You Need to Succeed
- Ideally minimum 2+ years experience in office administration
- Hands-on experience with accounting software, like Qucikbooks would be a plus but not required
- A good understanding of Excel: spreadsheets, creating graphs and tables, etc.
- Adept at navigating the Microsoft Office suite of products and its cloud-based file management system (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.)
- An aptitude to learn new software and trouble shoot tech issues.
- Has a friendly demeanor, stellar client service, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license with a car
- Ability to work as a team member as well as independently and with minimum supervision to meet deadlines, perform multiple tasks and to respect confidentiality.

Salary: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
