Job Summary: This position is funded through Ontario’s Job Creation Partnerships (see more details below). Reporting to the Administrative Assistant and Administrative Manager, provide administrative support, oversee client relations, and support ticketing functions.
Responsibilities:
· Support the Client Services Coordinator.
· Reply to email and phone inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
· Assist with receiving and directing festival inquiries, mail, and courier services
· Maintain and update the existing electronic filing system.
· Assist in strengthening relationships with existing community contacts.
· Assists in maintaining and updating community contact lists.
· Complete box office ticketing orders as requested.
· Update website event listings.
· Onsite support during the Music and Beyond Summer Festival.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Strong written and communication skills in English, strong verbal and written skills in French is an asset.
· Working knowledge of office equipment. Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Word and MS Excel.
· Superior organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
· Experience with Wordpress an asset.
Additional Qualifications Required:
Eligible to participate in Ontario’s Job Creation Partnership (JCP) program by meeting the following criteria:
1. You are a resident, living in Ontario.
2. You are not a full-time student (part-time students are eligible).
3. You are not leaving employment to participate (working less than an average of 20 hrs./week is considered unemployed.
4. You also must meet, and provide documentation for, at least one of the following criteria:
a. Previously established an Employment Insurance benefit claim (regular benefits within the last three years or maternity/parental within the last five years), OR
b. Previously employed in Canada in five of the last ten calendar years and earned gross income in excess of $2000 in each calendar year.
Remuneration:
$662 (gross) per week for 32 hours / $20.6875 per hour provided by the Province of Ontario.
