Job description for Part-Time Office Admin

Our goal is to accelerate the transition to Passive House and energy efficient building practices to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
We are seeking an experienced Administrator to perform a variety of tasks for our Office and on Projects in our Canmore office. This position has room for growth, with potential for Full Time hours for the right candidate. It is a plus for the candidate to be interested in passive house building practices and European construction methods. Position available immediately.
Bi-weekly pay period, 20-30 hours per week, and vacation/ holiday pay and benefits. We offer a Health Spending Account benefits program to our employees.
Job Duties
Job duties include maintenance of our Google Drive folders and organization of documents within including contracts, project information etc.; maintenance and updating as necessary of office technology, organizing company phones and site iPads; website and social media regular updates; organizing hiring efforts and new employee onboarding; management of HSS internal and external contacts; management of office supplies, printing, and marketing; internal communication with HSS Team members and planning of Team events. Assist the Design Team with grant applications and compliance, design award entries, and preparation of post-project books and updating the HSS portfolio. Assisting with project budgets and payables. The ideal candidate will have local experience in the construction industry and have skills in project estimating and budgeting.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in an office administration and/or marketing role, with construction or architecture industry office experience as a major plus. They will be a "jack of all trades" with excellent writing and verbal communication skills and a strong working knowledge of Google Business Suite (especially Google Drive), Adobe Creative Suite (especially Acrobat, InDesign), Canva, Microsoft Office, Trello, JotForm.
Experience in Project Management and Project Estimating and knowledge of relevant software is a big plus.
