Oilfield Operator

Great North, a Dril-Quip Company,is currently searching for Wellhead Technicians to provide services in Bonnyville.

Location: Bonnyville

Schedule:12 hour shift unless otherwise stated. Hybrid role between In Field local and Camp work. Camp is 2 weeks on and 1 week off.

Wage: $24-$35, based off experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Well Servicing Consisting of Valve Greasing, Pressure testing of seals, prepping equipment to be reinstalled, Help with tear down of wellheads during work over with the rig crews, Torquing of equipment back on the wells.
• Inventory management in the field
• Execute field service requirements such as installation and maintenance of wellheads.
• When in the shop -Assisting in Shop Duties, Shipping/Receiving, Warehousing, Customer Property Repair
• Maintain service units, including tools and spare component requirement.
• To assist in the development of a strong service team.
• To work in consort with all other divisions and branches. Cross-training and inter-branch support is expected.
• Record logbooks and records ensuring adequate service intervals and hours of service regulations are followed.
• Audit preparation
• To fully support documented internal company quality programs and procedures and safety programs.

Job Requirements:

• Wellhead / Frac equipment experience considered an asset
• Gate Valve knowledge / repair experience considered an asset
• Valid class 5 license with air brake endorsement required
• Knuckle picker experience and certification considered an asset.
• H2S, First Aid, CSO, EWP, Fall Protection required.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety.
• Service oriented with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel
• Must meet the physical demands and requirements of the job on a regular and consistent basis: This role involves regularly lifting 50lbs, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, walking and/or sitting for extended periods of time. In addition to the physical nature of this position, this role involves performing tasks in severe weather conditions as required.
