On Call Casual Skid Steer Operator - Snow Removal

Do you love operating equipment and want the opportunity to do that all winter season? Does your current job end for the winter and you just need some casual work in the mean time? This is a great opportunity to work with a fantastic team and have an awesome time plowing snow!

This position is an On Call Casual role and no hours per week are guaranteed!

What would your Snow Removal shifts look like?

• Operate a Skid Steer and/or loader to remove snow from parking lots and commercial properties
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections
• Utilize a cell phone or tablet to track time, take before and after photos, and detailed notes

What skills and abilities do we need from you?

• Ability to operate a Skid Steer at an advanced level- preference will be given to those with previous experience using a Skid Steer in Snow Removal
• Reliable and able to be On Call, for when weather permits with a good amount of availability (our shifts could occur during any day, night, overnight, weekends, holidays, etc.)
• Outgoing, friendly & responsible with excellent interpersonal skills
• Motivated & mature with ability to work without direct supervision
• Must be able to work a flexible and unpredictable schedule- shifts are based off when it snows
• Must have a reliable way get to and from work to our main office
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and sit in a Skid Steer for long periods of time
• A working cell phone to be able to receive calls and texts for call outs
• A class 7 or higher driver's with a clear driving record required
• Ability to operate a loader will be considered an asset

Salary: $20.00-$32.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift
• On call

Experience:

• professional skidsteer operating: 1 year (preferred)
• Snow Removal using a Skid Steer: 1 year (preferred)
