SalaryVTT is Hiring for On-Call Security Officers
Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Security, the Security Officer will play an integral role within our Security Department and work closely with the Head of Security.
Hours of Work
- This is an on-call position. Hours may be anywhere between 7:30am - 5:30pm.
Dress Code
- Dress code will be appropriate attire to carry out security duties
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for VTT’s property, staff and visitors
- Monitor and control building access points
- Conduct general Security Operations Center Duties
- Perform internal/external patrols
- Report unusual occurrences or any suspicious activity
- Respond to any security related incidents
- Respond to any major incidents that involves Police Paramedic and Fire Department
- Monitor and review video surveillance, as required
- Remove violators from premises, if required
- Ad hoc projects as required during the school year
- Ad hoc projects as required during the summer which include but are not limited to summer camps/rental bookings and administrative assistance
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum Basic Security Training (BST) Level 1 qualification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with security monitoring systems
