Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic hospitality professionals to join our team at The Royal Mayfair for the 2024 season. As part of the on-Course Hospitality team, you will play a key role in ensuring members, their families and guests enjoy their experience on the course. The on-Course Hospitality team operates both the mobile Beverage carts as well as the concession building and works as a team to provide unparalleled service.
Responsibilities:
- Serve food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Prepare basic food offerings such as hotdogs and sandwiches.
- Provide recommendations on food/drink selections based on customer preferences and menu offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area
- Handle member payment transactions
- Engage with members, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous hospitality experience is preferred
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, wine, and cocktails is an asset
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with members in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to use basic kitchen equipment such as knives and small appliances to execute the production of items such as sandwiches and hotdogs.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
