Online Tutor

Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in various subjects, focusing on areas of difficulty
- Develop personalized lesson plans and teaching strategies based on each student's needs and learning style
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate with parents or guardians to provide updates on student performance and address any concerns
- Utilize a variety of instructional materials and resources to enhance the learning experience
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and motivation

Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, such as tutoring, teaching, or classroom assistance
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively explain concepts and provide feedback
- Proficient in the subject(s) being tutored, with the ability to break down complex topics into understandable terms
- Patience and empathy when working with students who may be struggling academically
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities

Contract length: 6 months

Salary: $17.55-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 20 per week
